Stop BIRTH-DAY abortions

We can not, um, deliver a live baby.”

What a powerful sentence.  Do you happen to notice what two things are off about what this abortion counselor has said? First of all, she’s telling a woman that is 6 months pregnant that she can’t deliver a live human being (obviously or they’d have to let it suffer and die…Kermit Gosnell anybody?)  and secondly, the abortion counselor in the most uncivilized clinic in America did in fact, call this “thing” a BABY.

Prayer warriors America needs you today! New Mexico needs your prayers desperately. Right now the people of Albuquerque are voting, Tuesday November 19th, on whether to ban barbaric late-term abortions in their city. Thanks to the complete lack of protections for the pre-born child, innocent children can be destroyed up to the day of birth. Abortionists do “fly-ins” into the state to perform deadly “week-long procedures” – sometimes leaving mothers in hotel rooms to deliver their children, killed by poison, alone.

Southwestern Women’s Options, Albuquerque is currently the late-term abortion capital of the USA.

Do you know how much these so-called doctors make from extremely dangerous late-term abortions?  Watch Live Action’s first video, “Profits from Pain,” to find out.

Poisoning precious human beings to death is big business for Big Abortion.  That’s why Planned Parenthood has dumped hundreds of thousands of dollars into opposing Albuquerque’s late-term abortion ban.

Even worse, local hotels are in on the killing.  Watch the second video, “‘Room Service’ Abortions in ABQ,” to see how far the Plaza Inn will go to make sure Southwestern Women’s Options’ abortionists get their cash.

  • Abortion is legal for any reason through all nine months of pregnancy in New Mexico until the day of birth.
  • Albuquerque is home to the largest late-term abortion facility in the country and is considered the late-term abortion capital of the nation.
  • Out-of-state doctors travel to our city each week to target the lack of common sense laws and regulations on abortion in New Mexico and profit from the lucrative and dangerous late-term abortion industry.
  • Abortion clinics that perform surgical abortion, including dangerous late-term abortion are not classified as ambulatory surgical centers.
  • The New Mexico Department of Health has no oversight over abortion clinics in New Mexico–making abortion clinics less safe and accountable than nail salons.

I would encourage the other side-and those undecided-to look at the facts: the scientific fact that these babies feel tremendous pain is compelling enough to end these late term abortions. With that considered, just put yourself in the baby’s shoes.”-Andrea Gilligan, Communications Director, Protect ABQ Women and Children”

Prayer to End Abortion

“Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.

I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.

I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.

I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen!”

Help for Hope!

Last night my friend and new seminar partner, hosted our very first event together, HELP FOR HOPE! I can’t wait to share with you how it went, but first, I’d love to tell the story of how it all came into action, because we all know, when God is in control, greater things abound when we are obedient to Him!

September 10th, 2013 I wrote:

“Melanie! You may or may not know I partnered up with Rodan+Fields dermatologists and the Lord has blessed me more abundantly then I ever thought with this! Since I’ve known you in the 7th grade, you are one of the sweetest and most genuine people I know, business savvy and smart…and so darn beautiful inside and out!!!

I saw that you posted doing seminars with your company. (how cool!) And I thought quite possibly you may be interested in something BIG I’m doing. Long story short (but I’d love to tell you more) God is leading me down a new path in my life that is quite exciting and He is using this business to do it. A portion of the earnings I make I’m giving to Hope Resource Center. Are you familiar with what they do? And I don’t even know what your stance is on abortion and you don’t have to say because I know it can be a touchy topic…but I thought how awesome it would be if you ever wanted to do a seminar together.”

Her response:

“…. I would LOVE to do a joint seminar with you. Lets make it happen! Ill write more tonight xxoo”

During this past summer, I noticed that Melanie’s business, Alma Diem, was successfully growing, and how her and her business partner Katie, held their first seminar together on FEAR. I immediately thought and prayed for weeks about contacting Melanie and sharing the vision I had with her. I wasn’t even quite sure what I would say or how this whole “thing” would work. Would we get together and twiddle our fingers thoughtlessly trying to come up with a plan? How would we even get started?

Weeks later, I finally messaged Melanie. Her response was exciting yet simple. It wasn’t until we met up for a glass of wine at a nearby restaurant to discuss how this plan would come full circle and see how God had placed us exactly where He wanted us. Together.

Melanie is in her own words, “the blondest Mexican you will ever see”! (ha, love her heart!) But in my words, she is like a magnet that draws anyone in around her. She is comforting and warmth and your new best friend after 5 minutes of talking with her. I hadn’t seen this sweet woman since middle school! And here we were randomly meeting up because of a vision that God placed on my heart.

She quickly shared her story of college, dating, and how she met her handsome mate (who is the assistant DA in Knoxville-woop woop!) She shared the highs and lows of some marriage days and how she was awarded #1 massage therapist in Knoxville! (I’m telling you, if you meet her, you will instantly know why!) Then it gets more exciting….about how God led her and her husband back to Knoxville.

The success Melanie had with her first seminar was so overwhelming, that her and her business partner decided that they wanted to do one more event before the year 2013 was up. Melanie literally said, “Bam. And there was your email, asking me to join you. I looked up at the sky and said, ‘Thank you God!'”

We giggled and laughed and kept jaw-dropping at each others stories on how we were brought together at this incredible moment in a corner booth.

She said to me, that her massage therapy was just the vehicle used to get her to where God really wants her, sharing with people about Fear. “Fear is a spiritual block to God” is what she had us repeat at the seminar last night, referencing her old cheerleader days. “Repeat after me: FEAR is a spiritual block to God!”

March 10th, 2009 Melanie wrote to me:

“i had a trip to new york and a job offer lined up with a christian independent film company and i was supposed to leave sunday, but i got a call yesterday that their staff is leaving for Europe and I’ll have to reschedule in may… good news for them and the small company that they are, but not good for me… my hope is that God has something bigger planned for me than i could dream up for myself, but i have to admit…it is hard to hold on to that right now. are you in Knoxville?? what’s your story?”

Oh yes. God absolutely had something bigger planned for Melanie. As well as for myself thinking I’d be working in a jail the rest of my life.

Long story short, to see how God brought Melanie and her husband Hector to Knoxville to be in the position she is in around so many people, and God using her to change lives daily to be partnered up with me on a journey I didn’t even quite know where I was headed, leading us to the cafe last night with standing room only is NOT a coincidence friends. It is our Almighty God and the greatest Author you will ever know.

Help for Hope had drinks, it had appetizers, it had a massage therapy chair, a wine sommelier, a jewelry designer, a tech guy, a short film. It had people. People that couldn’t get by without bumping into another person. Help for Hope had my sweet, brave, and beautiful guest speaker Johnna Bullard. Johnna poured out her heart about choosing abortion when faced with an unwanted pregnancy yet to turn around and choose LIFE after meeting with an advocate at Hope Resource Center. She now celebrates a gorgeous, smart, and lively 12 year old daughter Jaden Lily HOPE! (Can I get an A-men?!) Read more about her powerful story here:

And most importantly, Help for Hope had a jar stuffed with money and donations. It had everyone’s attention. The room was full of awareness and positivity. It had women asking me about speaking at their small groups, churches, and more. It held tears of heart break and restoration. And it had new hands of people ready and willing to serve. Praise the Lord for hearts to volunteer and take action!

So when you are obedient and because you have heard that little voice in your head become louder and louder to serve, don’t ignore it. You never know who’s lives will be changed….and SAVED.

I feel the greatest destroyer of peace today is “Abortion”, because it is a war against the child… A direct killing of the innocent child, “Murder” by the mother herself… And if we can accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love… And we remind ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts… – Mother Teresa
