Barack Obama, “Something Special is happening…”

This week, a very important ban on abortion failed, missing the deadline by just minutes. But wait, most social media will allow you to believe this was a huge fail! Yet that isn’t the whole story. This ban would have prevented all abortions after 20 weeks, when a baby feels pain, and would require doctors to have admitting privileges into hospitals.

This is what passed!

*Breaking news!  Oh, what amazing grace of Jesus. We have won! The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has temporarily overturned the injunction put on part of the Texas prolife bill! Now ALL FOUR parts are to be enacted immediately! More than a dozen abortion clinics will now not be able to operate! Final hearing will be in January. So today in Texas, a third of the abortion doors have closed. Women will have to reconsider their options and babies are being saved! What victory we have in this! (Updated November 1st, 2013)

In addition, it requires abortionists to follow FDA rules for administering abortion drugs. There was an estimation that nearly half of the state of Texas’s abortion clinics would have been closed due to  holding up to these qualifications.

Let me speak this in layman’s terms for you since Planned Parenthood is solely interested in the health and care of women first and foremost.

(Don’t let that fool you. They are only concerned with doubling and increasing their abortions yearly for profit. Just ask Abby Johnson. This bill that wasn’t passed, is continuing to allow doctors that ARE NOT allowed to practice in a hospital, to keep on performing high risk and dangerous abortions on young women. I don’t know about you, but I believe any doctor touching and working on my body better be highly trained, professional, and worthy of the job to keep me safe and protected.

“Blocking this law only puts vulnerable women in great danger,” said Anna Higgins, director of the Center for Human Dignity at the Family Research Council. “We are very disturbed that a judge would partially block a law that is grounded in the latest science and common sense.”

Wendy Davis. Texas State Senator. Known as a woman of strength in her back brace to help her stand comfortably during her 13 hour filibuster, “abortion barbie”, and fashion sense of her hot pink shoes. What a woman. So elegant. So graceful. So loving. What admiration I have for her to speak so long about killing babies as a right, I mean Woman’s Rights. Wendy Davis spoke on and on and on for so long, that the clock ticked and time expired to pass the bill.

She even gained our President’s support. President Barack Obama tweeted Tuesday night: “Something special is happening in Austin tonight. #StandWithWendy”. Do you support Wendy’s fight for death and the support from our President that tweets about “something special”?

Yeah, this picture below sure is something special.

Then let me ask you Senator and President, why isn’t this picture so special?

But Pro-Killers, if that 24 week old baby aborted doesn’t excite you yet, maybe it will that it isn’t over yet. Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott is expected to appeal. Both for Texas and Pro-Life activists, the fight is far from over. Appealing in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals could take months. The restrictions are on hold for now, but aren’t expected to stay that way.

As David Freddoso put it, Wendy Davis can now say, “When the moment came to stand up for smashing the life out of a baby 6 months into pregnancy, I was up to the task.” This is not an accomplishment of which she should be proud.

Texas isn’t alone. In less then a month, Albuquerque will be the first city in the country with the opportunity to vote to ban late-term abortions starting at 20 weeks of pregnancy. New Mexico is one of 15 states that uses taxpayer money to fully fund abortions. In 2011, taxpayers funded 1,786 abortions through state Medicaid to the tune of over 1.1 million dollars.

A recent undercover investigation was recorded due to the upcoming vote on late-term abortion. Watch here:

Late-Term Abortion

Also known as the “MOLD” Technique-Stands for the four products employed in the abortion process: Misoprostol, Oxytocin, Laminaria, and Digoxin.

Currently, this late-term abortion process is in use in pregnancies as late as 35 weeks at:

Southwestern Women’s Options in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Germantown Reproductive Health Services in Maryland

Boulder Abortion Clinic in Boulder, Colorado

Pro-Choice Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

Other abortionists also use this process in the second and third trimesters but are less open about it.

The Induction abortion takes 3-4 days to complete. On the first day the woman is given an ultrasound to determine the gestational age of her baby. Then, with the aid of the ultrasound to guide the abortionist, a lethal dose of the heart medication Digoxin is injected into the baby’s heart or into the amniotic fluid directly through the woman’s abdomen. (Potassium chloride is infrequently substituted for Digoxin.) Digoxin gives the baby a fatal heart attack. This is an off-label application of the drug, which was originally developed and approved as a treatment for heart disease. In some cases, the injection can be made vaginally instead of through the abdomen.

This syringe to the left is one that is placed into a baby’s heart, possibly feeling like a heart attack.

Those who have experienced massive heart attacks, describe them as extremely painful and frightening. It is well documented that babies in the later stages of pregnancy can feel pain, and at least one study indicates that babies as young as 6-8 weeks gestation may experience pain.

After the Digoxin injection, the woman’s cervix is packed with laminaria, thin tampon-like sticks made of seaweed that expand the cervix gradually over the next day. The drug Misoprostol is also administered vaginally to “ripen” the cervix for the upcoming delivery of the dead baby.

Misoprostol is a drug that was originally manufactured to treat stomach ulcers. Its use in abortions is an off-label application not approved by the FDA. Misoprostol stimulates uterine contractions which are unpredictable and sometimes violent.

After the first day’s injection and cervical preparation, the patient is sent home or to a local hotel where she will remain unmonitored until her appointment at the clinic the following day.

On Day 2 of the procedure, the woman is repacked with larger laminaria sticks and given additional Misoprostol to prepare the woman for labor. The Misoprostol may be administered both vaginally or bucally (between the cheek and jaw), depending on whether delivery is expected on Day 3 or 4. If the woman is undergoing a later, 4 day process, she will return on Day 3 for additional laminaria and Misoprostol. Each day until delivery, she is sent back to her hotel where she remains unmonitored, even though active labor had begun or was in progress.

Sometimes, women cannot be able to get to the clinic in time and deliver their dead babies in the hotel, in vehicles, or other places were medical assistance is nonexistent. Tiller admitted so much in an video he produced for the purpose of introducing prospective abortion patients to the late-term abortion process.

“I left my baby alone in a toilet”…Don’t miss this young woman’s interview with Bill O’Reilly here about her experience with Dr. George Tiller, the creator of the induction abortion.

I’m disgusted. I’m disgusted that women are told that they have a choice yet no one tells us what that choice is or what that choice is going to do to us or to the baby for that matter. Very few people, I think, know that this is what happens. It’s not just an easy solution. It’s not an answer to any problem, it just creates more problems.”

On the final day of the abortion, the woman is given the drug Oxytocin, which induces or augments contractions and the onset of labor. Women then are placed in a room where they endure the final stage of labor process. When it is determined that the labor has progressed to the point where the baby is about to be delivered, each woman is usually taken into a room with a toilet and told to lean on the nurse and push the baby into the toilet.

The toilet delivery method is used by a number of abortionists, including Florida abortionist James Pendergraft. Other abortionists may allow the woman to deliver on a delivery table. Still others, such as former Michigan abortionist Alberto Hodari, prefer to remove the dead baby through dismemberment.

Once the dead baby is delivered, the woman is given a procedure called Dilation and Curettage, or D&C. Here, a sharp edged spoon-shaped instrument is used to remove the remaining tissue, such as the afterbirth, from the uterus.

Complications from lethal fetal injections are well known. In Orlando, Florida, the misuse of Digoxin resulted in the live birth of Baby Rowan who died after abortion clinic workers denied him medical care. In Wichita, Kansas, Tiller’s needle slipped, and Baby Sarah was injected in the head with a toxic drug that was a precursor to digoxin. She survived and was later adopted, but suffered a malady of medical problems. She died five years later from complications to the injuries she received as a result of the injection.

“But frankly, debate over digoxin/dead baby abortions versus live baby abortions is absurd. The result is still a dead baby. Both procedures are barbaric and hold serious risks to women,” said Operation Rescue Senior Police Advisor Cheryl Sullenger. “The act of killing a pre-born baby is in itself immoral and until we can come to grips with that as a society, we never be able to value life as we should.”

Lord Jesus thank you for your victory! Thank you for the abortion clinics being closed one by one today in Texas. At this time Lord, I lift up the distraught faces of each woman that you have created with life inside of them, who now don’t know where to turn. I pray for the right people with loving hearts and open arms to welcome these women into their life, to learn who YOU are, through their actions. Lord Jesus this is all for your glory! I pray for changed hearts and minds and that your love shines onto these women wanting to kill and to the father’s of these unborn children. God in the beginning, you said, “Let there be light!” and there was. I pray today that they see your light.

It’s a Girl!

“It’s a girl, it’s a girl, it’s a girl, it’s a girl, it’s a girl, it’s a girl, it’s a girl!”

Thirty one years ago, on October 10th, 1982, those were my own mother’s very words. After having a son, she was beyond ecstatic to find out early that October morning, that she had been blessed with a little girl. What a blessing it is to know that I was WANTED.

Sadly, this isn’t the case in so many of our nation’s births and of our world’s births. We have all heard of the stories in China, of the government’s stand on one-child families. If you are unacquainted with the horrors of China’s way of limiting it’s population growth, let me catch you up to speed on a few facts.

In March of this year, the Chinese government released statistics showing that 336 million abortions had been performed under its family planning policies, dating back to the 1970’s.

China’s sex ratio  at birth is more imbalanced than the global average. There are about 113 boys born in China for every 100 girls.  There is evidence of sex-selective abortion, neglect, abandonment, and even infanticide of infant females.

For families who observe the One Child Policy, there are rewards: higher wages, better schooling and employment, and preferential treatment in obtaining governmental assistance and loans. For families who violate the One Child Policy, there are sanctions: fines, employment termination, and difficulty in obtaining governmental assistance. Some wealthier families have as many kids as they want because they can afford to pay the fines issued.

Files are kept on every woman of child-bearing age by the local councils, who are assisted by networks of informants. Women who have children without permission—and are found out—are often forced to have abortions or sterilizations. If they refuse to cooperate, thugs are sometimes sent to destroy their houses or beat them up. If they run away sometimes their parents or relatives are imprisoned.

There have been reports of some provinces forcing women who became pregnant in violation of the policy to undergo late-term abortions or sterilizations. There were earlier stories of female infants being killed because of a preference for boys

“Forced abortion isn’t really legal, but the law isn’t clear and different jurisdictions interpret it different ways,” He Yafu, a demographer and family planning expert, told the Los Angeles Times. To complicate matters, abortions and sterilizations are often performed at family planning clinics, where, by the admission of Chinese officials, medical training and equipment can be inadequate.

“In 2009, a woman in Liaocheng, also in Shandong province, died after being forced to get an abortion a week before her due date. Family planning officials said that Feng Junhua bled to death during a staff shift change at the clinic. It wasn’t even a proper hospital. The facilities were no good,” said a man familiar with the case who asked not to be identified for fear of retribution. He said that Feng had left her village to give birth, but went back briefly to take care of things at home and was grabbed by family planning employees. “They took her when she was alone. They had no permission. Nobody agreed. It wasn’t right.”

Feng Junhua already had one child, a 10-year-old boy, but badly wanted another and felt at age 38 that she was running out of time. “People in the countryside want two children, so that they can help each other,” said the man, who knew the family.

Here is a blurred photo of a baby forcibly aborted at 7 months gestation. You can view the unblurred picture here:

The mother of this child was a 33 year old woman who was found out to be illegally pregnant by an informant, where she was later dragged to the hospital and was injected with a needle into the uterus to kill the baby and induce labor.

And here is another story, of a woman named Sky News, where earlier this month, 20 officials burst into her home at 4am, where they induced her with drugs to kill their baby boy at 6 months gestation.

Here is her heart-breaking interview here:

After the baby was expelled from her body, the boy was placed in a bucket next to her bedside.

“Sadly, they are not alone.  The Chinese government will forcibly abort women up to the ninth month of pregnancy. These forced abortions are sometimes so violent that the women themselves die along with their full term babies.  Forced abortion is official government rape.

Does your heart break when you hear this? When you view this shaken woman’s tears and this father’s heart break on camera, do you even blink, or do you weep with them?

Don’t turn away from reading this. I beg of you. Don’t stop this video because you can’t bear the pain. Don’t read this and move on because it’s in another country and it’s not happening here.  Our women may not be dragged brutally out of the comfort of their homes at night and be forced to have abortions in America, but it is happening here. It doesn’t matter how the baby is murdered, whether be it violent force or the gentle voice of it’s mother saying, “Go ahead. I want this”.  It’s murder however which way you look it.

How about the 17 year old that was caught shop lifting in Manhattan, and inside her Victoria Secret shopping bag was a dead baby? The lab results revealed just this week the baby was in fact born alive, full term, and died by asphyxiation.

And what about the 26 yr old mother in Pennsylvania that is facing murder charges because she birthed a baby in a sports bar, suffocated him, stuffed his body in a toilet, then went back to watching a wrestling match in her blood stained clothes?

THAT makes you angry, correct? Of course it does. No decent human can read those last 2 stories that has any morally sound ethics and a heart and decide that this is ok. She should be charged with murder. She should face life in prison or the death penalty.

So let me ask you, where is you heart when a baby that is the same age as the above mentioned child that was birthed in a bathroom stall, has his limbs ripped apart? Has been beaten to death by long medical tools while gasping for breath, fighting for a freedom it may never know? And finally is suctioned out by a tube as it’s bones crush and crumble through the tube?

It is quite ironic that these babies can be aborted with no hesitation because the child is simply living in utero. If it were a doctor pulling this child out in the bathroom stall in a hotel room, there is no persecution. If the child has surfaced, takes a breath, it is now  life taken. Murder by Pro-Choice’s own definition.

The safest place a baby should be is in it’s mother.

“It’s a girl, it’s a girl, it’s a girl……”

Those words. Those words can be joy or they can mean murder. How I cry out that this society has become one that can choose death because, “it’s a girl.”

Recently there has been shocking revelation that some doctors in Britain have been aborting female babies solely on the grounds of their gender.

This is higher in Asian communities, but it is reaching us slowly but surely. And doctors that have revealed they are practicing sex selection abortions aren’t being prosecuted.
Where are our feminists? The ones that speak out about “their” bodies and demand woman’s rights? Shouldn’t there be an outrage by these woman that their gender is being stomped on? No. It is ignored or quite bizarrely defended.

‘There is no legal requirement to deny a woman an abortion if she has a sex preference,’ said the chief executive of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), Ann Furedi. Going even further, she argued that any attempt to restrict gender selection would undermine a woman’s right to choice.

‘We either support a woman’s capacity to decide or we don’t. You can’t be pro-choice except when you don’t like the choice,’ she trumpeted.

Is this not the opposite of the barbarity of what feminists fight for?
A few weeks ago I sat at lunch with a friend on the job. I’ve known him for 7 years and although I’ve never met his wife, I feel like I know her. Being that I have 2 kids of my own, families and talk of kids has always come up. They can’t have children and finally coming to terms with it decided that was ok for them. Until now. That day at lunch my friend held his phone over for me to see Ainsley. There she was, the cutest, round cheeked, pig-tailed (3 might I add!) little Asian girl I had ever seen. One years old. My heart fluttered. His smile got huge.
“We are praying about it,” he said.
How many Ainsleys are out there? How many orphans needing homes because they were born with the crime of being a girl? Or in fact, weren’t born at all? How many, precious, gentle, beautiful little ones, are sitting at the feet of Jesus?

40 Days of Prayer, 40 Days for LIFE

Knoxville. Home of Vol Country. Season changes that are rich in vibrancy, color, and warmth. Endless places to hike, swim, and enjoy God’s beautiful southern creation. Good ‘ole big city/little city Knoxville, Tennessee, voted on as one of the best places to raise a family in all of America. And here in my hometown of Knoxville, at 1547 Clinch Avenue and 313 S Concord St lies the grave site of 5,000 babies are that killed here each year. When you look at this picture below, imagine that many children on our nearby playgrounds. Imagine that number of children learning their ABC’s, making goalies on their middle school soccer team, and graduating from the University of Tennessee. Yes, imagine.

The good thing about living in “volunteer country”, we don’t have to imagine anymore. We can wipe our hands clean of wiping out our own children here in our little town. How?

“I vote for pro-life when the elections come around”.

“I send in a check to Right for Life when I can.”

No. Let’s PRAY. Let us boldly lock arms and pray.

Matthew 18:20
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”

Take a stand for life!

“From September 25 – November 3, our community will take part in 40 Days for Life … a groundbreaking, coordinated international pro-life mobilization. We pray that, with God’s help, this will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city — and beyond”

For these 40 days, we pray for the babies, the men and women seeking abortion — and yes — the workers in the abortion centers. Those prayers will go on day or night … rain or shine … on four continents.

This amazing organization, 40 Days for Life is now in over 500 cities and 19 countries. It has had 83 abortion workers convert to pro-life, 40 clinics close, and most of all it has saved the lives of 7,536 babies!!!

Vision and mission

40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign with a vision to access God’s power through prayer, fasting, and peaceful vigil to end abortion.

What does this mean for you?

Pray outside an abortion facility. Pray at church. Pray at work. Pray in the car. Pray at home with your family.

“Your presence is necessary even if you may not think it is.”

Planned parenthood client that changed her mind in regards to the people praying outside her clinic

Prayer outside a clinic?! Can I really help change someone’s mind?

No, but Jesus can. It is by no coincidence that today I fell upon the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000.

“We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.” (the disciples)

“Bring them here to me,” he said. 19 And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21 The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.”

Jesus fed 5,000 from 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish! Do you have the faith strong enough to believe that Jesus can save 5,000 beating hearts here in Knoxville? Miracles beyond our greatest understandings can and will take place if belief is given to Jesus!

If you feel the flutter in your heart you might be called crazy, a religious nut job, or people may yell at you “it’s their body and to leave them alone”, then quite possibly God is speaking to your heart. Have courage. Be bold. And read this letter recently received from a young lady on her way in for an abortion.

My friend had left me the use of her apartment as she was away … perfect because it was right where the clinic was!

The next day, I saw you people lining up with signs … I watched from the window every day and all day you were there! Different folks each time.

I had this idea in my head that abortion picketers were extremists … no “normal” person would do that sort of thing. Yet you did not look extreme … more ordinary.

Tuesday was my pre-procedure appointment. Used the wrong entrance and had to walk past you. So what, I thought. Who cares? They don’t know me or where I am going. As I walked past (hurriedly!), my legs felt like they weighed a ton. What was going on? Are these people intimidating me? Do I need to feel ashamed as I walk past? The receptionist told me to “ignore them” when I asked about you.

Every day I watched you. One day I thought for sure no one would be there. Weather forecast was calling for severe winds and rain. There in the afternoon, amid strong winds which were blowing the signs over the head and onto the grass, you stood. Three or four together. All day!

The next day I took a walk and followed you in the direction where everyone seemed to go. It was a church. After everyone left, I went inside and saw all the signs, flyer. Impressive set-up, I thought. They seem organized in their purpose!

On Friday was my scheduled appointment for my procedure. I was suddenly terrified of what was to be. My heart was almost beating out of my chest.

My boyfriend, who had promised to come the day before, did not show up to take me. Said he was tied up and that ultimately it was my choice to have it that day or wait til next week. My choice. But he’s not there to hold my hand! Lots of weighing pros and cons.

Anyhow, I want to let you know that I decided to keep my baby. The boyfriend is still a distance away but maybe he needs time to come around and see the big picture.

The reason I decided to leave you this note is to tell you that what you did was good. I felt I owed it to you for all the days you stood there in hope that others would take notice. I noticed – and in turn it gave me hope that others I know would also care to “stand for me.”

It’s a crazy world we live in … but some seem to know how to see the good in it. Thanks!
